Alfonso's Catering has been active in the food service business for over fourteen years. From our humble beginnings as a fastfood pizza outlet in Makati in 1988, we went on to operate a canteen for a major financing company in Legazpi Village, Makati. Our catering functions started from simple, birthday blowouts in the office that eventually evolved into more elaborate celebrations at home. From these simple beginnings, we were inevitably drawn into bigger, more formal, and broader range of functions. We eventually incorporated the business as Seafood Ventures Corporation in September 1997, and operate under the business name of "Alfonso's Catering and Events Specialist". We are now a full-service caterer that serves a wide range of functions from private dinners for 20, formal cocktails for 100, memorable weddings for 400, and happy alumni homecomings for over 800. Alfonso's Catering can handle functions for as many as 1,000 guests with full formal set-up, or serve packed meals for thousands. We serve mainly Metro Manila clients, but have also had the distinct pleasure of catering for company three-day company outings in Laguna and Batangas, weddings in Cavite, and even a two-day, 5-meals-a-day wedding celebration in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. Being an all-occasion caterer, Alfonso's, by necessity, offers a “No borders” cuisine to satisfy its clients' food preferences. Thus, we can offer a wide variety of different menus including among others Japanese, Chinese, American, Continental, and, of course Filipino cuisine. This familiarity with different menus ensures that our valued clients do not tire of our food. Over the years, Alfonso's Catering has earned a reputation as the caterer of choice that serves tasty food with beautiful décor and attentive service—all at a reasonable price. The company's motto “We'll make you proud!” is the quality standard of service that we have set upon ourselves and everything that we do. The heartfelt thanks and repeat business that we receive prove that we have indeed made our clients proud. Our clients' satisfaction is our greatest reward. Mrs. Alice Patag, the hands-on CEO of the company, manages not only day-to-day operations, but also personally visits major catering functions to ensure her clients' satisfaction. Her active involvement in all aspects of the business means that top-level decisions are quickly made to address clients' concerns and needs. The company's managers, who have between them have over eighty years of combined work experience in the food business, ably support Mrs. Patag.
